Felix Gebhard – Gone For Walks

After about a year’s wait, Tessellate Recordings released its second physical edition. It comes courtesy of German musician/artist Felix Gebhard, entitled ‘Gone For Walks’. The physical package includes the CD along with images taken along the walks supplied as postcards with maps of where certain field recordings were made on the reverse.

The album itself is comprised of four tracks that rest on a bed of field recordings that document a series of walks around the Wendland area in Germany, as Felix enjoyed time away from his usual city lifestyle. The recordings are joined by a wide pool of manipulated acoustic instruments, namely the guitar
