Trumpet & Badman – Love Keeps Changing
Trumpet & Badman is the new collaboration pseudonym for DJ Haus and DJ Q, a project in which by their own admission they deliberately intended to vibe out with tons of raw, old school detail. Throughout ‘Love Keeps Changing’, expect plenty of organ stabs, vocal and sax licks and kickin’ US Garage beats.
It’s difficult to pick a favourite from this EP as each is absolutely brilliant, which is what makes it such a solid EP. One of my all-time favourite House tracks from the 90’s was Armand Van Helden’s remix of Kim English ‘Nightlife’ and in places, this EP nods back to those days.
