TwelveTen – Haze
We’ll be featuring lots of releases from the newly formed Deep House/Techno label Warehouse Decay. Since April, they’ve already amassed a discography of nine EPs that cover the various sub-genres of House and Techno.
Their latest release is a two track EP from British producer Tom Hughes, who records as TwelveTen. Tom’s sound is perhaps best described as Deep Tech House although its cross-over appeal has seen it played in sets by the likes of Brett Gould and Andy Ward.
The two track EP kicks off with the dubbier title track ‘Haze’, which builds carefully over its 9 minute duration. On the ‘flip’, Physical Focus brings a deeper feel to the equation with warm rhodes chords set to a more percussive beat.
