Vincent Floyd – Moonlight Fantasy
I’ve had my eye on this release for about a week, desperate for it to drop so I can grab a copy. If vintage sounding old school Deep House music is what you’re after then look no further – this album will surely hit the spot. There is of course that 90s revival thing going on with Deep House right now which seems to merge UK Garage style heavy bass, jackin’ beats and high pitched vocals. Unfortunately this has become the fashion right now which is always a sure-fire sign of a genre going down the pan.
On the underground scene though, there’s always plenty of good stuff to get your ears around and ‘Moonlight Fantasy‘ by Vincent Floyd is testament to that. Rush Hour have worked together with the artist to present a coherent album’s worth of delightful early 90s Deep House gems.
