Citizen Funk – Chicago Pizza
There’s so much seriously good woozy Deep House and lo-fi instrumental Hip Hop stuff around at the moment, it’s untrue. One such outlet to keep close tabs on if this your bag is Dresden, Germany based label Uncanny Valley. They’ve put out some quality records and we’ve recently just got into ‘Chicago Pizza’ which is a collaborative project from Peter Clamat and Scherbe as Citizen Funk.
The record was recorded in France where they get together each year for a few jam session – the result here is a medley of modern yet retro jazzy/funky Hip Hop cuts.
